Lithuanian energy consultants association – it`s juridical and natural persons voluntary incorporation, exercising economic, social, educational and research tasks and functions.

LEKA main tasks are:

·         Represent and defend all members’ interests in the authority; working with contractors, provide legal assistance for members of the association;

·         Participate in the preparation and implementation of laws and bye-laws;

·         Participate in the development of normative documents, preparation of methodological literature;

·         Exchange the association members professional qualifications, and to coordinate and carry out their training;

·         Ensure, that LEKA members respect the professional ethics and promote fair competition, in accordance with the approved code of ethics;

·         Collect, systematize and disseminate information related with LEKA member’s area of specialization;

·         Establish and maintain contacts with their counterparts in abroad;

·         Propagate and install energy saving distribution;

·         Other unlisted objectives in connection with the consulting, technical services, project preparation, tendering, maintenance, and others.

In pursuing its objectives, LEKA has following functions:

·         Organizes its activities corresponding the objectives of concluding the necessary contracts;

·         Provides information to the media, if necessary, itself establishes such media;

·         Communicates with corresponding organizations in Lithuania and abroad (both in contracts and membership);

·         Prepares and implements the most targeted programs and participates in  other state or non-state institutions (organizations, firms) preparation programs and execution;

·         Collects and disseminate information about its activities;

·         Enable the sponsors for their promotional activities in its organized events;

·         Establishes companies and organizations on the basis of the type of businesses or organizations law;

·         LEKA can‘t provide financial assistance and distribute profits among its members of the members of social organizations, workers;

Perform all other functions overlapping with its members and the public interests, compatible with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
